Texaswater Resources Institute in Quality Water Services Directory

    

Texas Water Resources Institute Serves as a focal point for waterrelated research at Texas universities, encouraging discussion of statewide issues through meetings and multiuniversity studies. Includes calendar of events, newsletters, and reports. The Texas Water Resources Institute provides leadership to stimulate priority water resources research and educational programs throughout Texas. The Institute is part of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Texas AgriLife Research, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University and a member of the National Institutes for Water Resources. TWRI thrives on collaborations and partnershipscurrently managing more than 70 projects, involving some 150 faculty members from across the state with more than $20 million in funding. The Institute maintains joint projects with 14 Texas universities and two outofstate universities; more than 40 federal, state and local governmental organizations; 20 consulting engineering firms, commodity groups and environmental organizations and numerous others.
